This case is listed under the caption "for admission". When the case was called, there was no representation on behalf of the Petitioner. Thereafter, the matter was passed over to facilitate the counsel for the Petitioner to appear and assist the Court.
2. The learned Senior Standing Counsel for the Respondents is present through Video Conferencing.
3. This Writ Petition is filed for a mandamus to direct the 5th Respondent to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 17.09.2025 and for a further direction to the Respondents to dispose of the appeal dated 21.01.2020 filed by the Petitioner against the Assessment order dated 26.12.2019 for the Assessment Year 2017 - 2018. 2/5
4. The learned Senior Standing Counsel for the Respondent would submit that appropriate orders may be passed, taking note of the fact that the appeal was filed as early as on 21.01.2020 against the aforesaid Assessment order.
5. Recording the above submission of the learned Senior Standing Counsel for the Respondents, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the Respondents to consider the representation of the Petitioner and to dispose of the appeal filed by the Petitioner on 21.07.2020 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of nine months from today.
6. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
