ORDER
The petitioner is working as Grade II Stenographer in the Legislative Assembly Secretariat of Puducherry. According to the petitioner, he is eligible to be appointed as Tamil Reporter in the Legislative Assembly Secretariat. According to the petitioner, there are vacancies for the post of Tamil Reporter in the Legislative Assembly Secretariat. The petitioner has given representations on 07.11.2019, 23.06.2020, 19.06.2021 and 23.09.2021 to the respondents requesting them to post him as Tamil Reporter in the Legislative Assembly Secretariat of Puducherry. Since the representations have not been considered till date, he has filed this writ petition. 2.
Heard Mr.P.Suresh Babu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Nirmal Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Puducherry) who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representations as stated supra are considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter.

For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representations dated 07.11.2019, 23.06.2020, 19.06.2021 and 23.09.2021 seeking for posting him as Tamil Reporter in the Legislative Assembly Secretariat of Puducherry within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
