Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 6 and their sub-ordinates or any other persons claiming under them in any manner not to interfere in the civil dispute pending between the petitioners and the 7th and 8th respondents and further direct the 5th and 6th respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioners life and limb, by considering their representation dated 31.12.2022.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking police protection based on the representation given by the petitioners on 31.12.2022. 2.Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), on instructions, submitted that, based on the representation given by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending in C.No.426/Petn/1GP-NZ/Camp/2022 on the file of the 6th respondent Police.

3.The petitioners are directed to co-operate with the Police for enquiry and the respondent Police shall conduct the enquiry keeping in mind the judgment in Lalitha Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh reported in 2013 (6) CTC 353. On completion of the enquiry, the respondent Police shall take a decision regarding the further course of action. This process shall be completed by the respondent Police within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 02.08.2023 Internet: Yes Index : Yes/No KP
