Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus calling for the records of the detention made in C.No.06/PBMMSEC Act/IS/2015 dated 05.06.2015 passed by the first respondent, the Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore city to set aside the same and direct the respondent to produce the detenue before this Court and set the detenue S.Kannan at liberty who is confined in Central Prison at Coimbatore.

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUDHAKAR,J.) The petitioner, who is the wife of the detenu, S.Kannan, aged 33 years, S/o Sethuraman has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the first respondent made in C.No.06/PBMMSEC Act/IS/2015 dated 05.06.2015 against her husband branding him as a "Black Marketeer" as contemplated under Prevention of Black Marketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act, 1980. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the order of detention passed by the first respondent as against the husband of the petitioner dated 05.06.2015 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. Rt No.265, Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection (E1) Department, dated 23.07.2015 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed as the same has become infructuous.
