Mr.D.Baskaran, learned counsel for appellant and Ms.Ramya Rao, learned counsel for the 2nd respondent are present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows: TERMS OF SETTLEMENT The appeal has been filed against the award of a sum of Rs.10,14,500/- along with interest in M.C.O.P.No.488 of 2005 on the file of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, VI Judge, Court of Small Causes, Chennai.
2. Now the parties have agreed to settle the matter and the appellant decided to withdraw the appeal.
3. In view of the above, the appeal is dismissed as withdrawn as the matter is settled out of Court. The award of the tribunal is confirmed. M/s.United India Insurance Company Limited, No.38, Anna Salai, Chennai - 600 002.
