PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the first and second respondents to transfer the investigation in Crime No.198 of 2019 on the file of the third respondent to some other police station or any other competent agency and further investigate the matter on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 18.12.2019 to secure the ends of justice.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first and second respondents to transfer the investigation in Crime No.198 of 2019 on the file of the third respondent to some other police station or any other competent agency and further investigate the matter on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 18.12.2019. 2.

On a perusal of the status report, the third respondent has enquired five witnesses and they have to secure the main accused person in this crime. At this stage, the transfer of investigation would affect the entire investigation in Crime No.198 of 2019.

4. Therefore, this Court finds no merits in this petition. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed. However, the third respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.198 of 2019 pending on his file and file a final report within a period of twelve weeks from the date of the receipt of a copy of this Order.
