Respondent PRAYER :

Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India for a direction to dispose R.C.O.P.No.11 of 2016 on the file of the District Munsif Court at Tambaram expeditiously.

For Petitioner :

Mr.G.Vijayakumar COMMON ORDER These petitions have been filed by the petitioner seeking expeditious disposal of the R.C.O.P.Nos.10 and 11 of 2016 before the trial Court for eviction of the respective respondents on the ground of willful default. Though, the petitions have been filed during the year 2016, the tenants have been prolonging the matters by getting multiple adjournments. Even though counter has been filed and PW1 has entered into box, so far, no cross examination has been done by the respective respondents. Hence these petitions.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Notice to the respondent in the respective revisions is dispensed with as this Court intends to direct the trial Court to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dispose of the matters at the earliest and by such order no prejudice will be caused to the respondents.

3.It is seen from the records that the petitions in R.C.O.Ps have been filed on 10.03.2016 and counter has been filed on 20.07.2016. Petitions under Section 11(4) have also been filed, in which no counter has been filed by the respective tenants. Meanwhile proof affidavit has been filed by the petitioner as PW1. Thereafter, the matters have been adjourned for cross examination many times. Thereafter, the matters are being prolonged. Taking into consideration that the petitions have been filed two years ago and PW1 has also entered into the box, this Court directs the trial Court to dispose of the matters (i.e.,) R.C.O.P.Nos.10 and 11 of 2016 on or before 30.06.2018. The Civil Revision Petitions are disposed of accordingly. No costs.
