This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry.
2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is a student studying third year Diploma in Nelliandavar Institute of Polytechnic, Jayankondam, Ariyalur. The respondent police had falsely implicated the petitioner, as though the petitioner had been indulged in a sale of lottery tickets. In the guise of enquiry the petitioner and his aged parents have been harassed by the respondent police. Hence he filed this present petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that four cases are pending against the petitioner and all the cases are under Lottery Act. Investigation in the above said cases completed and final report made ready and yet to be filed shortly.
4.Recording the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
