O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to direct the respondent to appoint the petitioner in the post of Thozhil Vinagnar (Technical Employee) in the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation, Coimbatore by considering his application dated 10.11.2014.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent brought to the notice of this Court that the application submitted by the writ petitioner on 10.11.2014 was considered by the competent authorities and the petitioner was found not eligible for appointment. Accordingly, his claim was rejected and an order was passed on 09.08.2018. Thus, no further adjudication is required in the present writ petition with reference to the relief as such sought for.

3. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
