PRAYER: The Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, to direct the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Madhavaram Court to expedite the trial and dispose the case in RLTOP No.2 of 2021 within a time frame may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court. O R D E R

The present Civil Revision Petition is laid by the petitioner to direct the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Madhavaram to dispose the Application filed for eviction in R.L.T.O.P.No.2 of 2021 within a stipulated time as per Section 36(6)(a) of the Tamil Nadu Regulation of Right and Responsibilities of Landlord Act 2017.

2.Heard learned counsel for the revision petitioner. 3.This matter is filed only in the year, 2021. This Court is aware that the matter is recently filed in the year, 2021 and there may be many number of such cases pending ahead of this. However, under the new Act, right of cross examination is only optional and can be made only on the leave granted by the Court and it may be still be possible for the Rent Court to spare some time to dispose these type of cases.

4. This Court is thus directing the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Madhavaram to dispose of the matter within a period of six(6)

months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order excluding summer vacations or pooja holidays as the case may be. 5.With the above observation, this Civil Revision petition is allowed. No costs.
