PRAYER :

Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 to 6 to provide adequate protection to the life and limb of the petitioner's family members and other 20 family members, against whom social boycott has been declared by the 7th respondent and further direct them to take appropriate action against members of the 7th respondent and their henchmen in accordance with law and to prevent their illegal activities, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.12.2024. 2. The petitioner apprehends serious life threat towards his family at the hands of certain fellow villagers. The petitioner has already given a representation dated 27.12.2024.

3. It may not be possible to pass any sweeping order or direction as prayed for by the petitioner. However, the 6th respondent is directed to look into the petitioner's complaint and take remedial action so as to ensure that the petitioner or members of his family do not suffer any physical harm.

This Writ Petition is disposed of, accordingly. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
