ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent police not to harass the petitioner, her husband and their family members.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent on instructions submitted that the husband of the petitioner is an accused in crime No.1888 of 2020 and the petitioner was called for an enquiry in the course of investigation.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to issue summons to the petitioner, if they want to enquire the petitioner and it goes without saying that the petitioner shall not be harassed in the name of enquiry.

This Criminal Original petition is disposed of with the above directions.
