Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 16.12.2024 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 16.12.2024 within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court regarding conduct of Rekla Race for the year 2025.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and since this writ petition is filed seeking a simple writ of mandamus to consider the petitioner's representation, this Court without 2/5

expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.12.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.

4. It is made clear that incase of permitting the petitioner to conduct the race, the respondents shall streamline the race and ensure that the race is conducted either on the National Highways or on the State Highways and it is conducted only via road which is not connecting either the National Highways or the State Highways.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
