J., The petitioners, who are arrayed as accused 2 and 3, apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 376, 294(b), and 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No.6 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners herein are the parents of the first accused, who had love affair with the defacto complainant and had sexual intercourse with her by giving false promise to marry her. Later on, the first accused refused to marry her.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent and they have not committed any such offence as alleged by the prosecution and they have been falsely implicated in this case.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that it is a case of love affair and the offences under Section 294(b) and 506(ii) of IPC alone are attracted as against these petitioners.

5. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioners are having permanent residence, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners with certain conditions. P.KA LAIYARA S A N. J.,

6. Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thiruvannamalai, and on each of them executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and the petitioners shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m., for a period of two weeks and thereafter as and when required for interrogation. The petitioners shall comply with the condition stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.
