The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents to disburse the monetary benefits available under Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Ninaivu Marriage Assistance Scheme, based on her application dated 12.06.2015.

2. The case of the petitioner is that even though the said application was filed well within the time as required under the scheme and the receipt of such application was duly acknowledged by the concerned officials, the respondents have not considered the request of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner so far. Therefore, the present writ petition is filed before this Court seeking for the above direction.

3. Considering the above stated facts and circumstances and the very fact that the application itself was filed as early as on 12.06.2015, the respondents cannot keep the matter pending for more than 2 years without passing any order on the said claim. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of, by directing the second respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 12.06.2015, seeking financial benefits under the Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Ninaivu Marriage Assistance Scheme and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, if so required. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
