Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the entire records connected with the proceedings of the 3rd respondent in Ku.No./Se.Po/Po.U.Ko/Me.A.Mi.Ni/Ko.Kattu.No.01/2011, dated 25.01.2011 and set aside the same, consequently direct the respondents to reimburse the petitioner all the deducted amount within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed challenging the punishment of reduction of pay for a period of one year with cumulative effect.

2. This writ petition was admitted earlier and notice was issued to the respondents.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr. Karthik Raja, learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that subsequent to the filing of the writ petition, the petitioner was dismissed from the service, by an order dated 04.06.2018, in respect of another charge and he has not challenged the said order of dismissal so far. Hence, nothing remains to adjudicate in the present writ petition.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner is also not in a position to dispute the fact that the petitioner was dismissed from the service.

5. Considering the fact that as already the petitioner was removed from service in the year 2018 and the order is also not challenged so far, nothing survives for further adjudication in the writ petition .

6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
