After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows: 2/6

TERMS OF SETTLEMENT These Criminal Revision cases are filed against the conviction and sentence confirmed in the judgements dated 12.12.2023 by the VII Additional District & Sessions Court, Chennai in Crl.A.Nos.203 & 202 of 2023 preferred against C.C.Nos.1799/2015 and C.C.No.122/2015 on the file of the Learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court-I, Egmore at Allikulam, Chennai.

2. After negotiation, the learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions from the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has agreed to pay a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs Only) to the respondent on or before 08.04.2025, for which, the respondent also agreed. It is represented that already 50% of the cheque amount has already been deposited before the Court below.

3. Hence, the petitioner is directed to pay the balance amount to the respondent on or before 08.04.2025 as one time settlement. The 3/6

respondent is directed to withdraw the amount cheque amount deposited before the Court below after filing appropriate application.

4. The award is passed accordingly, there shall be no order as to costs.
