ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.3781 of 2017 on the file of the C.C.B, Special Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai.

2. It is seen from the charge sheet, there are specific allegations made as against the petitioner who is arrayed as A3. A statement has also been recorded under Section 161 of Cr.P.C to make out the charges against the petitioner. All the grounds raised by the petitioner have to be gone into a full-fledged trial. This Court cannot consider those grounds to quash the charge sheet. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to allow this petition.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, considering the fact that the case is of the year 2017, this Court deem fit to direct the C.C.B Special https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai to complete the trial in C.C.No.3781 of 2017 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
