ORDER

This contempt petition was filed on the ground that the respondent police have furnished a false information, as if the RCS notice was served on the petitioner and based on the same, an order was passed on 19.9.2023.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that no RCS notice was served on the petitioner as claimed when the order was passed on 19.9.2023. That apart, the RCS notice is of the year 2019 in RC No.33/2019 and whereas it was informed to this Court that RCS was served to the petitioner in RCS No.121/23. 3.It is bought to the notice of this Court that the protest petition was filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Kangeyam. The learned counsel for the petitioner made various allegations against the slipshod investigation that was done in this case to save the accused persons.

4.It is left open to the petitioner to raise all these grounds in the protest petition pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kangeyam. The protest petition is now posted for hearing on 2.5.2024. The learned Judicial Magistrate, Kangeyam, shall hear the parties and pass final orders in the protest petition within period of six weeks thereafter.
