This Criminal Appeal has been instituted to set aside the judgment and order passed on the appellant/accused by the Sessions Judge, Magalir Neethimanram, (Mahila Court), Salem by a judgment and order dated 13.12.2021, made in S.C.No.279 of 2017 and to acquit the appellant. 2.

When the matter is taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the sole appellant in the appeal died on 13.05.2024.
