ORDER

The petitioner herein filed this petition to call for the records relating to the proceedings in C.C No. 114/2021 on the file of Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvarur and quash the same as against the petitioner.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the accused persons received money to the tune of Rs.29,55,000/- from the second respondent and others for arranging job in Singapore and also the first accused issued forged visa and cheated the defacto complainant when the same was questioned by victim, at that time petitioner criminally intimidated them along with A1. Hence, they filed the complaint and FIR was registered in crime No. 12 of 2018. After investigation the respondent police filed the final report and the same was taken on file in C.C No. 114 of 2021. Hence, the petitioner filed this petition to quash the final report.

3. Heard both sides.

4. The allegation against the accused persons is that they were obtained money from the victims to arrange job in abroad but neither arranged the job nor returned the money. Thereafter, victims went to the one of the accused house where the petitioner along with other accused threatened the victims. On seeing the facts of the case, more than 29 lakhs was cheated by the accused persons. The learned counsel for the petitioner

states that the petitioner was not actively participated in the offence. This court is of the view that, it is a matter for Trial the petitioner can work out her remedy before the Trial Court. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed. No Costs. Consequentially, pending petition(s) if any stands closed. 20.02.2024 pbl To
