This petition has been filed by the petitioner to quash the FIR in Crime No.160 of 2013 on the file of the first respondent.

2. The learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) appearing for the first respondent has submitted that based on the complaint given by the second respondent, the first respondent has registered a case against the petitioner herein in Crime No.160 of 2013 under Sections 420, 463, 464, 468 and 471 of IPC. He further submitted that during the pendency of this petition, the first respondent has completed the investigation and filed a charge sheet. The same was taken up on file in C.C.No.99 of 2018 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No-II, Puducherry and hence he requests to dismiss the petition as infructuous.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that since the petitioner is working as Executive Engineer in Puducherry Housing Board Unit, his personal appearance before the trial Court may be dispensed with.

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, this petition is dismissed as infructuous. The personal appearance of the petitioner before the trial Court is hereby dispensed with. The petitioner is directed to appear before the trial Court as and when required by the trial Court.
