Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the claim of the petitioners for the sanction of increment due to them on 1st January, 1st April 1st July and 1st October on their completion one full year of satisfactory service in terms of FR 26 despite their retirement on superannuation on 31st December, 31st March, 30th June and 30th September.

The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submitted that the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous and hence, the writ petition may be dismissed as having become infructuous.
