ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent police to register a case on the online complaint lodged by the petitioner on 13.04.2015 and to file a final report within a stipulated period in C.S.R.No.201503052 of 2015 on the file of the Inspector Police, J1 Police station, (crime), Chennai - 600 015, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is seen that the complaint has been preferred through online and therefore, in the interest of justice, it will be appropriate for this Court to direct the petitioner to give a copy of the complaint dated 13.04.2015 that has been enclosed in this petition to the respondent.

4.Under such circumstances, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to give a copy of the complaint dated 13.04.2015 in person to the respondent and on such presentation, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and proceed further as per the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].
