Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pass orders on the representation dated 10.06.2015 and to measure the property situate at Plot No.1, Amarar Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Thathankuppam, Chennai - 600 049 comprised in Survey no. 128/1B1, Block No. 32, Ward No.E, Korattur Village, measuring 1631 sq.ft and issue patta after making necessary corrections in the FMB (Field Map Book). On 10.06.2015, the petitioner made a representation to the 3rd respondent alleging that there is discrepancy in the patta issued in respect of Plot No.1, Amarar Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Thathankuppam, Chennai - 49, comprised in Survey No. 128/1B1, Block No. 32, Ward No.E, Korattur Village, measuring 1631 sq.ft and therefore, after due measurement, proper patta will have to be issued. Considering the pendency of the representation of the petitioner with regard to the relief sought, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 10.06.2015, on merits, in accordance with law and after affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner as well as third party, if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
