PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records relating to the detention order dated 27.11.2024 passed by the second respondent in the proceedings in No.C3/D.O./100/2024 in respect of TPDA No.4377 and to quash the same, consequently, direct the respondents herein to produce the detenue before the Court and set the detenue the petitioner's son namely Bala @ Balaganapathy, son of Mohan, aged about 22 years, who is presently undergoing detention in Central prison, Cuddalore and set him at liberty forthwith.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.277, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 20.01.2025, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
