ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Respondent herein to consider the petitioners representation dated 11.10.2022 sent for payment regarding the works done by the Petitioner.

2. It is the case of the of the petitioner that she is a registered Contractor under the Pernambut Panchayat Union. During the year 2014-2015 and 20152016, she was awarded with 18 contracts in Rajakal Panchayat. However, the bills have not been settled. Therefore, the petitioner has made representations dated 11.10.2022 and 20.10.2022 to the respondents for the work done by her and the same has not considered so far. Left with no other option, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that certain bills are liable to be payable and with regard to other bills, there is some dispute.

In such view of the matter, the respondents shall consider the representation of the petitioner's representation dated 11.10.2022 and take a decision whether the bills are really sought to be paid or not. Such decision shall be taken within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
