O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a positive direction to appoint him on compassionate grounds. The petitioner's father passed away on 23.12.2001, leaving behind the petitioner and one elder sister and one younger brother. At the time when petitioner's father passed away, he was only 10 years old. He made an application soon after attaining majority on 07.09.2009. The 2nd respondent had also directed him to submit all the records in order to consider his case.

2. The petitioner states that he made further representations on 11.06.2012, 29.04.2013, 12.02.2015 and 03.03.2015. Since none of these had been considered, he has come forward with the present writ petition.

3. I am not inclined to grant any positive direction at this stage. Suffice it to direct the respondent to consider the applications 2/5

made by the petitioner for appointment on compassionate basis and pass a speaking order within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. This writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
