O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents respondents 2 to 4 to permit the petitioner to work as a Water Tank Operator in the Veerapanur Panchayat Board, Jamnamaruthur, Jawadhur Hills Polur Road, Thiruvannamalai District and pass orders.

2. Mrs.G.Nanmaran, learned Special Govt. Pleader takes notice for respondents 1 and 2 and Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the third and fourth respondents.

3. The case of the petitioner in brief:

The petitioner was working as Water Tank Operator in the Veerapanur Panchayat, Thiruvannamalai District, from the year 2015. After changing of President of Panchayat Board, one Mrs.Mangarkarasi was appointed as Water Tank Operator, in the place of petitioner and he was terminated by the fourth respondent. Hence, the petitioner made a representation dated 06.10.2021 to the respondents, however, they did not permit him to work as Water Tank Operator. Hence this writ petition.

4. By considering the limited scope of prayer and by consent of both the counsels to the parties, without expressing any opinion on merits, this court is inclined to pass orders at the admission stage itself.

5. Accordingly, it is ordered as follows:

i) The third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.10.2021 and pass orders on its own merits, in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
