The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) and 20(b)(ii)(B) of Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and Section 328 of Page No.1 of 5

IPC, and in Crime No.341 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. This is the second bail application. The earlier application filed by the petitioner in Crl.OP.No.18987 of 2024, dated 22.08.2024, was dismissed by Hon'ble Mr.Justice.P.Dhanabal, with the following observations:- "Considering the rival submissions on either side and considering the gravity of offences, considering the fact that the petitioner is having so many previous cases and investigation is also pending, I am declined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner at this stage."

3. Considering the aforesaid facts, the absence of any change in circumstances, and the fact that the petitioner has 26 previous cases, out of which 6 cases are under the NDPS Act, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
