Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the fourth respondent herein to return the petitioner's 3 volumes of Service Register to the office of the 7th respondent and to direct the 7th respondent herein to furnish certified copy of petitioner's Service Record to him based on his representations dated 23.02.2016 and 23.05.2016.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus to the Chief Educational Officer, Dharmapuri, the fourth respondent herein to return the petitioner's 3 volumes of Service Register to the office of the Headmaster, Government Higher Secondary School, B.Agraharam, Dharmapuri, the seventh respondent and to direct the seventh respondent to furnish the certified copies of the petitioner's Service Record, based on his representations dated 23.02.2016 and 23.05.2016.

2. Mr.P.Sanjay Gandhi, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. Since the prayer in the writ petition falls in a narrow compass, this Court, without going to the merits of the matter, hereby directs the fourth and seventh respondents to consider and dispose of the pending representations of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
