The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(aa), 4(1-A), 14A of T.N. Prohibition Act, in Crime No.436 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in possession of 70 litres of Pondy arrack. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and no way connected with the alleged offence and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that this is the third anticipatory bail petition. Earlier petitions filed by the petitioner were dismissed by this Court. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the petitioner is having 6 previous cases against him. He also submitted that now the respondent had located the petitioner and about to secure him. 5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and that there is no change of circumstances after the previous dismissal orders passed by this Court, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
