The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue patta to the petitioner's house site situated at Old Survey No.165/B and new Survey No.380/15 Ward No.10, Old Natham No.19/2, New Natham No.165, Thadapalli Village, Gobichettipalayam Taluk, Erode District to an extent of 838 3⁄4 sq.ft. based upon his representation dated 09.11.2022.
2. In order to get patta for the house site situated at Old Survey No.165/B and New Survey No.380/15 Ward No.10, Old Natham No.19/2, New Natham No.165, Thadapalli Village, Gobichettipalayam Taluk, Erode District to an extent of 838 3⁄4 sq.ft., the petitioner had given online application on 01.09.2019 to the 2nd respondent and a representation also has been made on 09.11.2022 and in order to consider those application and representation, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition with the aforestated prayer.
3. Heard Mr.N.Chinnaraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.P.Muruganraja, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents submits that, the said application and representation filed by the petitioner would be considered on merits and orders would be passed thereon within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

Considering the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate for the respondents and taking into account of the innocuous nature of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following orders: There shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the application as well as the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 01.09.2019 and 09.11.2022 and pass orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
