Respondent(s) PRAYER:-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first Respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.12.2025 to rectify the error in UDR patta No 122 and issue Patta for the property bearing Survey No 24/4G to an extent of 13 Cents situated at D.Perumapalayam Village, Salem Taluk and District as per petitioner sale deed dated 19.10.1973 registered vide document No. 2177/ 1973.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to rectify the alleged error said to have crept in UDR Patta No.122 and thereafter to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the property more fully described in the prayer to this writ petition.

2.The petitioner had given a representation to the 1st respondent on 26.12.2025 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3.Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if a direction is issued to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.12.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation dated 26.12.2025.

6.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 1st respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 26.12.2025, seeking to rectify the alleged error in UDR Patta No.122 and for issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner for the property more fully described in the prayer to this writ petition, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
