The petitioner seeks for certain documents from the second and third respondents. If the petitioner is claiming to be the member of the respondent Society and if he is interested in getting some documents, it is for the petitioner to make appropriate application under the Right to Information Act. Therefore, when such remedy is available to the petitioner under the relevant Statute, he cannot approach this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India by filing a Writ Petition seeking for a mandamus. Therefore, by granting such liberty, this writ petition disposed of accordingly, without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner. No costs.
