ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to afford an opportunity of hearing in the Award making proceedings to the petitioner in terms of section 7(5) and 9 of Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purpose Act, 1997.
2. When this matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondents would submit that already sufficient opportunities were provided and an award was also passed. Subsequently, the compensation amount was deposited to the credit of LAOP Court, where the matter is referred to enhancement of compensation. Hence, nothing survives in this petition.
3. In reply, the learned counsel for the petitioner requests this Court to direct the respondents to provide the details of LAOP Court, where the compensation amount is deposited.
4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.
5. In view of the above, it is clear that already the award was passed after providing sufficient opportunities to the petitioner. In such case, the prayer in this petition has become infructuous. As requested by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to provide the details with regard to LAOP Court, where the compensation amount is said to have deposited, so as to enable the petitioner to withdraw the said amount.
