ORDER

The petitioner is aggrieved against the impugned Award which affirms the punishment of compulsory retirement imposed on the petitioner. Pending the writ petition, the petitioner reached the age of superannuation in October, 2019.

2. The learned counsel for the first respondent submitted that though the punishment was one of compulsory retirement, the petitioner herein had received the entire gratuity amount and all other monetary benefits including the pensionary benefits without protest. It is further stated that the petitioner is now receiving the monthly pension also.

3. Thus, the grievance of the petitioner has been considerably met and by taking this into account that he has now reached the age of superannuation, no other effective orders can be passed in the present writ petition.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
