ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) of I.P.C., in Crime No.830 of 2017 on the file of the respondent police and hence, pray for anticipatory bail.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an Engineering student and he has to write examination tomorrow (05.05.2017); that he is having a permanent residence and therefore, he may be granted anticipatory bail.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) has no serious objection.

4. Considering the fact that except 506(ii) of I.P.C., other offences are bailable, the nature of the offences and the representation made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the entire facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, with certain conditions.

5. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned XV Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only), with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner

shall appear before the respondent police, once in a week i.e., on every Monday at 10.00 a.m. for a period of two months and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation. The petitioner shall comply with the condition stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.

6. The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Judl. Magistrate within a period of three weeks from the date on which the order copy is made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed.
