The petitioner submitted that he lodged complaint before the respondent on 30.12.2018 and on receipt of the same, no enquiry was conducted till today.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that after receipt of the complaint from the petitioner, it was forwarded to the City Crime Branch, Egmore, Chennai, and it is pending. 4.

Considering the above submission, the Inspector of Police, City Crime Branch, Egmore, Chennai, is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and conduct enquiry and dispose of the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
