ORDER
The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that she is a destitute widow and though she received an appointment order from the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.PD1/298/2016
dated 27.04.2018, she has not been permitted to join duty in the 4th respondent school and in this regard, she has submitted a representation dated 16.04.2018 to the 1st respondent. Since, no response is forthcoming, the petitioner has come forward to file this writ petition, seeking for a direction to direct the respondents to to permit her to join in the post of Noon Meal Assistant with all attendant benefits.
2. In view of the urgency of the matter, this Court, while issuing notice to the respondents had directed the learned counsel appearing for the respondents to get instructions as to why the petitioner has not been allowed to work, though she received an appointment order from the 2nd respondent.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, there is no explanation from the State Government/respondents.
4. Though, the petitioner has been issued with appointment letter with a direction to join with the 4th respondent School, this Court finds no reason as to why the 3rd respondent has not issued the joining letter and not allowed her to join in the said post. Hence, this Court in the absence of any explanation from the State/respondents, directs the 3rd respondent to issue the joining report to the petitioner to join in the place, where she is posted, within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of copy of this order and further the respondents are directed to facilitate the joining of the petitioner in the said post by taking all effective steps.
5. With the aforesaid order, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition also stands closed.
