This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 16.11.2023 wherein the petitioner is seeking for survey of the property and rectification/correction of the entry in the revenue records.

2. Heard Mr.V.S.Kesavan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to deal with the representation dated 16.11.2023 on its own merits and in accordance with law and final orders shall be passed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No 2/4
