Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, with a prayer to direct the respondents to produce the body and person of the petitioner's daughter (Mugambigai, aged about 17 years) before this Court and rescue her from illegal custody, if any, and set her at liberty.

O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.) It is the case of the petitioner that her daughter Mugambigai, aged about 17 years was missing, in connection with which a case in Cr.No.457 of 2015 has been registered by the second respondent Police for girl missing and the same is under investigation.

Today the second respondent Police produced the detenue Mugambigai before the Court. Petitioner/Mother of the detenue and her husband/Father of the detenue are also present.

On enquiry, the detenue revealed that since there was a proposal for getting her married to someone, she went to her friend's house at Erode, in order to avoid the marriage. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
She further conveyed her willingness to go along with her parents.

Recording the above statements of the detenue, she was handed over to the custody of her parents and this petition is closed.
