ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.1 of 2015, on the file of 2nd respondent to any other Investigation Officer not below the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police for further investigation and to file final report. 2.Heard, Mr.M.Prabakar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and perused the materials available on record.

3.It is seen that almost four years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court does not want to interfere with the investigation at this stage. However, the second respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

final report if not filed already within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above observation and direction, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
