ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.S.L.Venkatesan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 4.

2. The petitioner alleges encroachment on a canal in S.No.52/2.

3. The petitioner may approach the appropriate Committee constituted under the Government Order bearing G.O.(Ms) No.64, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Land Disposal Wing, dated 08.02.2022. If the petitioner approaches the appropriate Committee, the Committee may consider the same on its own merits and in accordance with law expeditiously.

4. The writ petition, as such, stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
