By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to confirm the tender which was held on 26.02.2018 for the bar license attached to the Shop No.8881, situated at Plot No.41/43, Periya Thoppu, Kamarajar Salai, Manali, Thiruvallur District based on the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2018.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner participated in the tender held on 26.02.2018 and was declared as the 2nd highest bidder next to one Sasikumar. According to the petitioner, the 1st highest bidder did not produce the No Objection Certificate from the landlord, whereas, the petitioner is having the No Objection Certificate from the landlord. In these circumstances, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2018 may be considered by the 3rd respondent. 4.Mr.J.Pothiraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the 1st respondent and Mr.P.Arumugarajan, learned standing counsel takes notice for the respondents 2 & 3 and submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2018 in accordance with law.

5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
