Crl.M.P.No.2641 of 2022 in Crl.R.C.SR.No.1680 of 2022 Crl.M.P.No.2641 of 2022 in Crl.R.C.SR.No.1680 of 2022 D.BHARATHA CHAKRAVARTHY, J., This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 510 days in filing the above Criminal Revision Case against the order dated 24.07.2018 passed in Criminal Case No.207 of 2018 on the file of the 1st respondent herein/Executive Magistrate cum Tahsildar, Arni, Tiruvannamalai District.

2. Citing the earlier proceedings, by which, finally liberty was granted and thereafter, this revision is filed.

3.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given appropriate reason to condone the delay. 4.Per contra, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first and second respondents would submit that the revision has got no merit at all and even subsequently, a suit has been filed and the same is pending and 145 Cr.P.C. proceedings culminated into the year prior to the suit. 5.I have considered the rival submission made by the learned Counsel on either side.

6.As far as the contention made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the same cannot be taken note of only on merits and the petitioner has already given sufficient cause for the delay. Accordingly, this petition is allowed.
