This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation for extending police protection to the temple festival at Pappathi Amman Temple which is to be held on 17.01.2025.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents and perused the materials available on record.
3. It is seen that the petitioner has given representation dated 22.12.2024 before the third respondent alone. The petitioner is directed to submit a copy of the same to the first and second respondents also. On such representation, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law.
4. With the abovesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
