The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petition dated 24.02.2017 filed by the petitioner within a reasonable time.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner gave a representation to the 2nd respondent to cancel the Power of Attorney Deed registered fraudulently by way of impersonation. Further, the learned counsel submitted that though the petition was given as early as on 24.02.2017, the 2nd respondent has not passed any orders so far. 3.Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents 1 & 2 submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to the 3rd respondent.

4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.02.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the 3rd respondent, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
