ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus to prevent the first respondent from harassing the petitioner.
2. It is the contention of the petitioner that, on 24.10.2021, he executed debt deeds in favour of the 2 nd respondent only for the purpose of filing income tax assessment. However, misusing the said deeds, the 2 nd respondent is trying to grab the property of the petitioner situated at Mandabam Village and has also lodged a complaint against the petitioner. It is further submitted that under the pretext of enquiry, the police is unnecessarily harassing the petitioner.
3. The learned Government Advocate (crl. Side) appearing for the 2 nd 2/4
respondent would submit that after enquiry, a FIR in Crime No.37 of 2023 has been registered and the petitioner has been arrayed as A1 .
4. Since the petitioner has already been arrayed as A1 in crime No.37 of 2023, this court is of the view that the present petition itself is the result of the said FIR and therefore, I do not find any merit in this petition..
5. Accordingly, this Writ petition (crl.) is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 20-08-2025 Mrp Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order To 1.The Inspector of Police (Entrustment Document Fraud-1, Central Crime Branch, Tambaram City Police, Sholinganallur, Chennai-600 119.
