JUDGMENT
Today, when this appeal suit is taken up for hearing, a Memo dated 27.04.2022 is filed stating that the first appellant G.Srinivasan died on 25.06.2019 and his legal heirs are already on record in this appeal as appellants 2 to 4. The said Memo is taken on record. 2.
The appellants 2 to 6 and the respondents 2 and 3 are present. It is reported that they have arrived at a settlement. The memorandum of compromise dated Nil. January 2020 has also been filed duly signed by the parties as well as their counsel. The effect of the same is that the respondents/plaintiffs have agreed to release / relinquish their rights in the suit properties, upon receipt of a sum of Rs.15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakhs only) from the appellants/defendants. The receipt of Rs.15 lakhs has also been admitted by them before me.

In view of the same, the First Appeal shall stand disposed of recording the fact that the Respondents have received a sum of Rs.15,00,000/-(Rupees Fifteen lakhs only) in lieu of their share in the suit properties and they have no further claim against any of the appellants in the suit. The memorandum of compromise dated Nil.January 2020 will form part and parcel of the decree. Refund Court fee as per rules. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. 27.04.2022 Index : Yes / No Speaking or Non speaking order vum To
